| Timeline of the 18th Century. |
Due: Wednesday, February 15
|
1. You are to create three timelines, one above the others, i.e. one at the top, one in the middle and one at the bottom of the page. Their order matters not. The three pages are to be scotched taped end to end in "hot dog" fashion, i.e. longways.
2. They will be labeled: Great Britain, France and the United States (13 colonies)
3. The date range will be from 1600-1800. (I know we have not covered all the information here, but rely on your text, teacher, and common sense to guide you.)
4. Bracket the dates on all monarchs and rulers, wars and events that happen over time.
5. Include great people and their contributions, ex, an author and his publishing, and events.
6. Use 7 illustrations per time line (that 21 for those who are math challenged). You can make them small so they will fit and not make your timeline look cluttered.
7. Make sure that ALL your dates on all three timelines correspond and align. (Major point deduction is they do not)
8. This timeline will count as a major grade and be due on Wednesday, February 15. Do not be late!!
9. Further discussion and FAQ’s in class.
