Updated - Mesopotamia - the land between the rivers.
We will explore the revolving door of great civilizations that came into being, conquered, and were in-turned conquered themselves in the Fertile Crescent. From the beginning of civilization in Sumer, that even pre-dated the First Dynasty of Ancient Egypt, to the Persian conquest, we will study the great leaders, every day life, great cities and their impact on the region.
