Updated - First, the English dealt with their absolute monarch and changed the nature of the monarchy forever. Next, the thirteen colonies, using the ideas of the Enlightenment, will react to the crown and break away from England. Could France, with all her economic problems, be not far behind in coming to grips with her absolute manarch?
